I will conduct a consultation phone call with you to address any questions or concerns you may have. Following this, I will thoroughly review and analyze your child's current Individualized Education Plan (IEP) to provide you with a comprehensive assessment of suitable recommendations and supports to present to your child's IEP team. This will also entail a comprehensive list of pertinent questions to ask the IEP team, which will establish you as an equal participant in the process and ensure that your child is receiving an appropriate education.

I will conduct a consultation phone call with you to address any questions or concerns you may have. Following this initial conversation, I will provide you with 3 hours of ongoing consultation and coaching to support you throughout your child's educational journey. This comprehensive service may entail reviewing documentation, engaging in collaborative phone calls and emails, drafting parent concern and advocacy letters, developing parent input statements, preparing for IEP meetings, and more.

I offer expert guidance in crafting a Parent Input Statement for your child's IEP. I will collaborate with you to understand your child's unique needs and translate your concerns into a compelling statement that will help drive your child’s IEP.
Through coaching and consultation, I hope to prepare and support you to fully participate in the development of your child's IEP. However, sometimes it is helpful to have someone sitting by your side during IEP meetings. Virtual and in-person (DC metro area) IEP meeting support is available at a flat rate.
Through collaboration and consultation, I work with businesses to design and create sensory friendly environments to support the needs of their clients and customers.
The majority of back-to-school child information forms only give a few general details about your child. This All About Me form is a great way for your to share 'all about' your child and to start building a relationship with your child's teacher. All about me child version is also included.
Preparing for an Individualized Education Program (IEP) meeting is crucial for parents. Here’s a pre-IEP checklist to help you get ready. Remember, the IEP process is a collaborative effort, and your input as a parent is invaluable. Being well-prepared will help ensure your child receives the best possible education and support.
